QUESTION: Before you tell us about music, we would love to know your story. How many years you are in Cyprus and what brought you here.

LIA: I’ve been living in Cyprus for 10 years.  Living in such a country was always a dream of mine.  And then one day, my parents decided that it was time for dreams to come true and we moved to Cyprus.  I am very grateful to them for such a decision, although I now understand how difficult it was to decide on this step.  Cyprus has become our home and so many important moments of my life have happened here!  I love Cyprus with all my heart.
QUESTION: You do something very differently from others. You mix and much a classic music with a modern view. How this idea came to your mind?
LIA: Actually, I don’t mix classical music.  My idea is to show that the violin is not only a classical, boring instrument, as many people think.  Violin can be different.  Therefore, I play modern and popular melodies on a classical instrument. I’m adding unusual outfits and different shapes, designs,  color violins to my performances. I really want to make people interested in this wonderful instrument.
QUESTION: How people reacted at first, when saw you doing this show?
LIA: People’s first reactions are always very interesting.  Usually they begin to look at me with interest, then they see that I am smiling ( I smile a lot 🙂 and people  smile  back!
In these moments I feel more connected with the audience .  This is such a wonderful feeling!

QUESTION: You are a mother. Is it was difficult for you to be a working mother?
LIA:Yes, I am a mother of 3 kids.  Usually everyone is very surprised by this!  Of course, being a mother is difficult and very responsible.  We need to find a balance between work and family.  But when people ask me how I manage, I always say that I have the best husband!  And it is true.  Only thanks to him I can do what I love and not worry about my kids.  He’s an incredible dad.  And I am very grateful to him for his support, help and patience 🙂
QUESTION: Have you ever thought to go on tv talents music show competitions?
LIA: No, I never even thought about it.  I don’t like contests at all.  It’s a huge stress for me. In the past I had many contests in different countries around the world so I think that experience was enough for me. But never say never 🙂
QUESTION: Someone could say that you have a lot of persones in music because of your costumes. How did you create every persona ?
LIA:Yes, I have a lot of costumes :). I like them very much! Most of my costumes are handmade by me.  I’ve always wanted to be different. I decided to create such costumes in order to interest the audience.  And we all have completely different tastes.  Some people really like my LED costumes, while others are totally against them.  Some admire my wings, and some don’t like them at all. And it’s really wonderful. I  really like the reaction of the people when they see me for the first time in my outfits. Usually the audience is surprised and amazed ,you can hear – Wow!  And when I finish playing, people come up to me and say so many beautiful words and compliments, and that inspires me to do even bigger and greater things 🙂
